See the cutting, stitching, and finishing behind Legacy in Nordweg's family workshop in Picada Café. In backpack production, each maker stitches no more than two bags a day.

Full-Grain Leather Details
Every Legacy piece starts with full-grain leather. These details show where finish, reinforcement, interiors, and natural variation change how each piece feels and wears.
Reinforced Backpack
The Backpack adds vegetable-tanned sole leather at its straps and load points.
Leather Interiors
The Briefcase and Duffel use leather interiors. The Organizer leaves the suede side of the same hide visible.
Natural Leather Variation
Tone, texture, and natural marks can vary from hide to hide. With use, the leather can soften, darken, and take on shine.
Final inspection
Every Piece Is Inspected
Before a Legacy bag leaves Picada Café, its stitching and finish are inspected. The Legacy Backpack is also individually numbered and hand-signed.
If it carries the Nordweg name, a person in the workshop has inspected it and stands behind the work.

Nordweg grew out of a small leather workshop opened by the founder's parents in Picada Café. Thirty-five years later, the workshop is still there and still in the family.

What is shared across Legacy?
Every piece uses full-grain leather outside and comes in Coal, Cognac, or Espresso.
How will the leather change?
Full-grain leather can soften, darken, develop marks, and take on shine with use. Those changes are part of the material's natural character.
Can I return it?
Eligible US orders can be returned free within 30 days. The item must come back in good condition and meet the current return-policy requirements.
What warranty applies in the US?
The Legacy Backpack, Briefcase, and Duffel Bag are covered for 2 years. The Legacy Organizer is an accessory and is covered for 180 days. Coverage applies to manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship under normal use.
Which piece should I choose?
Choose the 12-liter Backpack for daily carry, the 16-liter Briefcase for work, the 40-liter Duffel Bag for three-to-four-day trips, and the 2.07-liter Organizer for small essentials.
